Targeting the low-end smartphone market, Lenovo released three new phones S5 Pro, K5 Pro and K5s at its Beijing product launch event today. Prices range from $115 to $200.
The S5 Pro series features 20MP+ 8MP dual front cameras, branding itself as to provide users with iconic selfies. The 8MP infrared camera enables users to unlock the phone with their face even in low lighting conditions.
As for its back cameras, the 12MP+20MP group is powered with artificial intelligence (AI), allowing more natural bokeh with one click.
It also comes with 6.2-inch FHD + 18:9 display and 113 percent sRGB color gamut, emitting up to 600 nits of brightness. The model is powered by a 3500mAh battery and Snapdragon 636, supporting 15W fast charging.
The back has an all-metal design, available in blue, black and gold. The former two colors are priced at 1398 yuan ($200) and the latter at 1298 yuan ($187).
The K5 Pro features a 5.99-inch + 18:9 display and 6GB+ 128GB storage. Much like the S5 Pro, it runs on Snapdragon 636, however, the K5 Pro has a more powerful battery with 4050mAh. The two phones share the same quick charging rate.
Unlike the S5 Pro models, the K5s phone has a glass body, a smaller 5.7-inch + 18:9 display and a smaller battery at 3090Ah.
