Newest Vivo S Series to be Released in December

With the Spring Festival approaching, the newest of the vivo S lineup is starting the season early. According to Weibo tipster @Digital Chat Station, the new device has an internal code name of “Superman” and is expected to be released in December.

Previously, vivo S series featured front camera for selfie and fashionable appearance. According to the tipster, the internal code name has become more hard-core – “Superman”, and the positioning and product strength of vivo S series are expected to usher in great changes.

A front camera for selfies has been a mainstay of the vivo S series. From enhancing skin textures with AI algorithms to processing RAW image files, and from micro-slit fill lighting to implementing a concept of natural beauty, every generation of the vivo S series camera continues to lead the industry with their innovative features.

In addition, the light and elegant appearance of the phone is one of the “core competitiveness” features of the vivo S series. From vivo S5’s “geometric diamond aesthetic” to Vivo S9’s nine-color gradient body, and to Vivo S10’s first large-scale application of “photochromic” process in the mobile phone industry, the Vivo S series has been recognized by young users as being both a great camera and a great appearance.

According to the leak by the blogger, the vivo S12 and S12 Pro will adopt the new OriginOS Ocean system and will support 44W rapid charging. The iQOO Neo5se and iQOO Neo5s will also adopt the Snapdragon 778G, Dimensity 1200 and Snapdragon 888 platform.

According the tipster, the vivo S12 Pro adopts a FHD + OLED high-brush curved front screen with a notch, 50MP dual-front camera, 108MP matrix three-rear camera, Dimensity 1200 processor and is bundled with the pre-installed OriginOS Ocean system. The phone will compete with other smartphones such as the Honor 60 series at the 3000 RMB price level.
