OnePlus finally announced on its official Twitter account that it will be unveiling the highly-anticipated flagship OnePlus 6T on Oct. 30 in New York City.
Tickets to the New York launch event is available now on the company’s official website. For $20, one can get a ticket and a gift—a pair of Bullets Wireless headphones as well as “exclusive memorabilia”. In addition, users will get to experience the OnePlus 6T reveal live.
Two concurrent events will be held on Oct. 30. One is in New York at Pier 36, the other in New Delhi inside the Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex. A livestream on YouTube for those who are unable to attend the event will also be available.
OnePlus confirmed last month that the 6T will adopt a waterdrop instead of a notch design. The lower bezel of the OnePlus 6T will be narrower, bringing about a larger screen-to-body ratio.
The flagship will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It won’t have a traditional headphone jack, despite a grand majority of users’ strong desire to keep the jack, according to a previous poll. Both the new sensor and the removal of the 3.5mm audio jack are firsts for the Chinese smartphone maker.
The event kicks off at 11 a.m. local time in New York City, so check back then for the full details.
