Chase Xu, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Chinese electronics firm realme, posted to domestic social media platform Weibo on Tuesday, announcing that the company’s first flagship active noise-reducing headphones, the Buds Air3, will be released in March.
On the same day, a digital tipster with username “DigitalChatStation” released a picture showing the headphones connected to a mobile phone. The appearance is basically consistent with previous leaks, adopting a sapphire blue color, and the top of the charging box is made of a transparent material.
According to the blogger’s accompanying post, the new headphones support 42dB noise cancellation. The new product is equipped with independently developed “deep sea noise cancellation technology” and comes with TUV Rheinland certification. It has a 30-hour battery life and supports customized audio tuning Bluetooth 5.2, and dual-device connection. It will be released together with the realme GT Neo3 smartphone.
In fact, these TWS Bluetooth headphones were announced at the recent MWC 2022 in Barcelona. The headset adopts an in-ear design and comes in two colors – white or blue.
In addition to the configurations mentioned above, the product is equipped with 10mm dynamic bass boost driver, 88ms super-low latency, and the total battery life can reach 30 hours with the charging box. Besides, it supports dual mic noise cancellation for calls, transparent mode and dual-device connection. With Dolby audio technology also supported, it is resistant to sweat and water.
