Xiaomi launched its Play series, a delicately designed low-range product, on Christmas Eve.
The phone adopts Xiaomi’s usual design, apart from the fact that it uses a waterdrop notch screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Play is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, and a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Its battery capacity is 3,000 mAh. As for cameras, it has a 8MP selfie camera, as well as 12MP+2MP rear cameras.
The phone comes in three colors — Black, Dreamy Blue and Dawn Gold. The Dream Blue and Dawn Gold are gradient colors.
Another highlight is the “free data” of the Mi Play phone, with a customized Mi fans SIM card. It provides free data of 10 GB per month for the first year.
The Guinness World Record discussed earlier is actually using 1008 Mi Plays to constitute the world’s largest dynamic puzzle made of smartphones. However, they finally completed the challenge with 1005 smartphones.
The storage combinations of the phone are 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Pricings start form 1,099 yuan.
