Xpeng Aeroht Secures $150 Million in Series B1 Financing

Xpeng Aeroht officially announced today that it has secured $150 million in Series B1 financing, and is concurrently initiating Series B2 fundraising. This round of financing will ensure the smooth realization of the research and development, mass production, and commercialization of Xpeng Aeroht’s flying cars.

Xpeng Aeroht is about to build the world’s first large-scale flying car factory in the Guangzhou Development Zone, utilizing modern assembly lines. This factory will initially be used to produce the flying body part of the modular flying car “Land Aircraft Carrier.”

At the same time, pre-sales for the modular flying car “Land Aircraft Carrier” are planned to start in the fourth quarter of this year.

Xpeng Aeroht insists on the in-house development of all core technologies, including power systems, flight control, and autonomous airborne systems. In terms of flight safety, it has developed a pioneering ultra-low altitude multi-parachute rescue system.

Xpeng Aeroht’s first five generations of flying car products have successfully conducted nearly 20,000 flight tests, accumulating a wealth of flight data and experience for the modular flying car “Land Aircraft Carrier.”

The modular flying car “Land Aircraft Carrier” is divided into two parts: a ground vehicle that can fully house the flying body and a piloted, all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The ground vehicle, also known as the “mother ship,” can fully house the flying body and drive on the ground.

The flying body is a piloted, all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, equipped with a distributed electric propulsion system, meeting single-point failure safety requirements. It has both manual and automatic driving modes and features a 270° panoramic double cockpit.

The ground vehicle is a 4-5 person smart driving cockpit, equipped with a range-extender electric drive system. It can recharge the flying body multiple times and is referred to as the ground “mother ship.” The vehicle uses a three-axis six-wheel design that can achieve 6×6 all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering.
