SHEIN Partners with Luxury Brand MONSE for Co-Branded Collection

SHEIN recently unveiled its latest collaboration with the luxury fashion brand, MONSE. This partnership marries SHEIN’s trendy aesthetics with MONSE’s iconic design ethos, offering SHEIN customers high-quality, fashion show-caliber pieces at an exceptional value.

SHEIN’s increasing global brand influence and consumer reach are evident in their partnerships with globally recognized IPs, including Superman, Batman, Tom and Jerry, and Harry Potter. These co-branded products are all available to customers around the world. An insider close to SHEIN disclosed that the company has collaborated with over 220 renowned global IPs, producing more than 10,000 co-branded IP items in 2023 alone. Notably, all these products were designed and developed by SHEIN’s in-house designers.

MONSE, established in 2015 by designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, is also known for its creative leadership at the luxury brand Oscar de la Renta. MONSE is renowned for its innovative fashion approach, blending refined menswear tailoring with bold creativity. Its unique designs, from asymmetrical hems to deconstructed silhouettes and playful patterns, have become a staple in women’s luxury ready-to-wear. Numerous celebrities, both domestic and international, have donned MONSE attire at exclusive fashion events like the Oscars, the Met Gala, talk shows, parties, and film premieres.

Kim and Garcia have extended their expertise to mentor five independent designers from the SHEIN X designer incubation project. Together, they designed and launched the SHEIN X MONSE co-branded collection, offering SHEIN customers access to high-quality, runway-level designs at an affordable price. The SHEIN X MONSE collection caters to a wide range of sizes and styles, including dresses, jackets, shirts, pants, and accessories.

Laura Kim, Co-Creative Director of MONSE, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, “At MONSE, we are passionate about making fashion inclusive. That’s why we collaborated with SHEIN to launch a range that’s affordable for all.”

It’s also worth mentioning that SHEIN’s commitment to environmental sustainability is evident in its co-branded collections. For instance, SHEIN launched a sustainable clothing line in collaboration with Brazilian pop icon Anitta last year. All products in this line met the evoluSHEIN by Design standards, meaning they were made of at least 30% preferred materials and produced by environmentally certified suppliers. Furthermore, all items in the collection were packaged in bags made from recycled materials.
