BAI Capital Adds Partners, COO
On Friday, BAI Capital announced that from January 2022, William Zhao and Will Wang were promoted to partners of BAI Capital, while Christine Sun was promoted to COO.
Since the independent development of the fund in 2021, BAI Capital has quickly established a management team with the Investment Committee as its core. Under the leadership of founding partner Annabelle Long, William Zhao and Will Wang manage the investment teams in Beijing and Shanghai. Allen Li is responsible for fundraising, finance and post-investment management while Christine Sun is responsible for law, human resources and public relations.
William Zhao joined BAI Capital from an investment bank in 2015. Hi previous investment cases include Yixin Group, Lexin, Linklogis, SF Intra-City, Stori, Lejian, Opay, Innovusion, Hello Inc., Black Lake, PayPal Asia and others.
Will Wang joined BAI Capital in 2012 after emerging at the top of the Talents Meet Bertelsmann program, a commercial program design race. Over the past 10 years, he has invested in more than 50 enterprises, focusing on next-generation networks such as Source, Chaowanzu, Yahaha and Oasis, consumption and retail firms such as Keep, Dingdong Maicai, and Mobike, cross-border firms such as Outer and Wholee.

Christine Sun joined BAI in 2014 and is responsible for the company’s legal affairs. With the increasing systematic requirements of the fund for linkage before and after investments, she gradually took over the work of government, investor, and public relations in addition to human resources to maximize the utility of the firm’s information resources.
