Li Auto Announces Completion of 100,000th Household Charging Pile

Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer Li Auto announced on Friday that it has now installed more than 100,000 household charging piles.

Li Auto recalled that on October 9, 2019, its first household charging pile was installed in Beijing. On March 19, 2022, the 100,000th household charging pile finished installation in Xi’an, a city in central China.

In terms of sales volume, in February 2022, 8,414 Li ONE models were delivered, an increase of 265.8% compared with February 2021. As of March 1, the cumulative delivery volume of the Li ONE had reached 144,770 vehicles.

As of October 31, 2021, Li Auto had 162 retail stores in 86 cities across China, with 223 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized auto-paint centers operating in 165 cities.

Li Auto previously announced on Wednesday that due to continuous sharp rises in the costs of upstream raw materials, the price of the Li ONE will be adjusted from April 1, from the current 338,000 yuan to 349,800 yuan ($53,118-$54,976). Customers who have already paid a deposit will not be affected.

In addition, Li Auto will soon release a new car, the Li L9, which will be launched during Auto China 2022 in Beijing next month, with a price ranging from 450,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan. It has recently revealed some configuration information regarding the new model, including a self-developed flagship extended range electric system, a chassis control system and a central domain controller.
