Realme Rumored to Launch Smart TV

It seems like Realme is entering the smart TV domain, as 91mobiles reported that the OPPO subsidiary is going up against Xiaomi’s Mi TV with their new Realme TV.

The smart screen is expected to launch in India before the year ends. According to 91mobiles, the Realme TV will look to take on Xiaomi‘s Mi TV in the region. Realme has been going head to head with Xiaomi in the smartphone segment and the rivalry was bound to spill over into other areas as well.

The first Realme TV is expected to launch in India in the coming months. Realme is yet to confirm that it is working on a TV and there is no official information about the rumored device yet.

Realme’s TV is expected to launch at aggressive prices to compete with Xiaomi’s Mi TVs. Realme will have its work cut out as Xiaomi is currently dominating the smart TV sector in India.

Xiaomi recently announced that it sold over 250,000 Mi TV units during the Diwali festival sale, further solidifying the company’s position as the number one smart TV brand in India.
