Honor, the budget smartphone brand sold by Huawei Technologies in November, has reportedly resumed cooperation with US chipmaker Qualcomm and the companies are working to deliver a new 5G handset in the coming months.
Swedish telecom company Ericsson pressured a Swedish minister to reverse the ban on Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE’s involvement in Sweden’s 5G deployment in order to uphold its position in China’s telecom market, local media Dagens Nyheter reported.

Qualcomm presented its brand-new Snapdragon 888 processor at its Snapdragon Tech Summit. The new chipset will power the next generation of android flagship devices, including Oppo’s Find X series, Realme Race and Xiaomi’s Mi 11.
The UK government will ban the installation of Huawei devices in the country’s 5G network development by the end of next September, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport said last week.
