NIO ES6 Intelligent Electric SUV Model Will Be Launched Next Week

On May 16th, NIO officially announced that the ideal choice for families – the intelligent electric all-around SUV, NIO’s new ES6 will be launched on May 24th and test drives will begin. Deliveries will start on May 25th.

At 2023 Auto Shanghai, the all-new generation of NIO‘s ES6 and the 2023 model ET7 will make their official debut. According to William Li, Chairman and CEO of NIO, the all-new ES6 is a member of the four-second club and is touted as “the ceiling for high-end mid-size SUVs in terms of both horsepower and computing power”.

From the picture, it can be seen that the all-new NIO ES6 adopts a familial design language. The vehicle is equipped with a zero-gravity queen co-pilot and has a computing power of 1016T. It also offers an optional towing package.

The NIO ES6 has an exclusive exterior color called “Galaxy Purple”. It is equipped with 23 Dolby panoramic speakers, a 201-inch AR large screen, and boasts the widest horizontal seating space in its class. It also has the only electrically adjustable rear seat angle in its class, as well as a large sunroof that can be opened and folded down rear seats.

According to the introduction, the new car adopts a self-developed dual-motor four-wheel drive system. Its EDS electric drive system uses a highly integrated modular design of motor, reducer, and power electronic unit (PEU). The front 150kW + rear 230kW motors enable acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.

In addition, the new car also adopts self-developed ICC intelligent chassis domain controller, vehicle chassis system, and CDC dynamic suspension damping system.
